Governor's Chief of Staff George Bamba provides the following statement regarding the Attorney General's response today to Governor Felix P. Camacho's request for guidance on the bills presented to the Governor's Office for action: "Based on the Attorney General's opinion, the Governor's Legal Counsel is reviewing the bills. Any action taken by the Governor will be based on the merits of the legislation and, according to the Attorney General's opinion, will have no effect on the leadership question currently before the Legislature. The leadership question remains unresolved."
