Governor Felix P. Camacho and Lieutenant Governor Michael W. Cruz, M.D., issued the following statement regarding the earthquake and tsunami that struck Samoa and American Samoa early this morning:
 
“On behalf of the government and people of Guam, I wish to express our heartfelt condolences to our brothers and sisters of Samoa and American Samoa following the devastation caused by the earthquake and subsequent tsunami this morning. We extend our deepest sympathies to the grieving families of the victims and all the individuals affected by this disaster.”
